S Groups at Crown of Life
S Groups offer Crown of Life members and friends a way to share hobbies, passions, and get to know each other.
We are blessed with fellow brothers and sisters in Christ who have excellent ideas for sharing in fellowship and fun… all while showing their faith. S Groups were created to turn ideas into events. Scroll down and learn more.
S Groups are now on Sign Up Genius
Session 1 S Groups are live!
Session 1 events run between January 15 and April 15.
The purpose of S Groups
This is fellowship!
When you share your life with a community of believers, we call that “fellowship”. St. John writes: “We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ” (1 John 1:3)
Fellowship is necessary.
God did not design human beings to face life on their own. Instead, He intended for believers to be woven together in community so that they might encourage one another as together they walk the often difficult path of life.
- “Be devoted to one another in love.” Romans 12:10
- “Encourage one another and build each other up. 1 Thessalonians 5:11
- “Let us consider how we may spur on another on toward love and good deeds.” Hebrews 10:24
- “Offer hospitality to one another.” 1 Peter 4:9
These groups will provide numerous opportunities for Crown of Life members to carry out those biblical directives, enabling Christians to share their lives, knitting them together as a family for mutual encouragement and strengthening.
